The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform residents that at the Bloemendal/Fennel Substation, an 11kV circuit breaker has tripped, resulting in a power outage affecting the following areas:

AFFECTED AREAS:
* Booysens Park
* Surrounding areas

Technical teams have been notified of the outage, and investigations are currently underway. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely thank affected residents and stakeholders for their patience and understanding during this time.

 AFFECTED AREAS:
* NU 10
* NU 11
* Motherwell Police Station
* Surrounding areas

Despite the inclement weather, electricity teams are currently attending to the fault and are doing their best to restore power safely and as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and understand the challenges this outage may cause.
