It is reported that the is an issue between DC and NMBM offices and suspected that it is a cable break. The fault was logged over the weekend, technical is working on it to resolve the issue of the link between COEGA and NMBM offices.

Property Rates Tariff Correction
An
administrative error occurred with the implementation of the 2023/24 property
rates tariff increase.
Some
account holders will notice a negligible 0.5% adjustment/credit on their
municipal accounts as from 2 October 2023 indicating the necessary correction.

PLANNED WATER SHUTDOWN: STUDEBAKER STREET
The NMBM would like to inform residents that due to unforeseen circumstances, the planned shutdown has been rescheduled for 12 August 2023.
The Metro requires a 12-hour shutdown to conduct scheduled maintenance work on the pipeline. This is scheduled for Saturday, 12 August 2023.
Provision for water tankers will be made where necessary. The strategic placing of the tankers will be communicated on the NMBM social media platforms and can also be enquired from the Service Delivery Call Centre at 0800 20 50 50.
All efforts will be made to avoid interruptions to the water supply, however, we ask that residents exercise patience as the water supply restores throughout the next day.
Areas that could be affected should storage be depleted include Markman Industrial Area.

There is currently no access to Libby/Overdrive and download reading material.
The Libraries sub-directorate is doing its best to restore normal services. We hope to have resolved the challenges as soon as possible
