The Municipality wishes to inform residents that a 11kV circuit breaker tripped at Aloes substation causing a loss of power supply in the following areas:
* Aloes Coega
* Dumbrody
* Hougham Park 11kV line and surrounding areas.
A team has been informed to conduct investigations and affect repairs.

A team has been dispatched to attend the fault and speed up the restoration of power supply.

UPDATE ON KWANOBUHLE POWER OUTAGE.
Monday, 6 January 2025.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that a fuse unit tripped at Ponana Tini RMU, MRM 9 during the switching process at Majola Street and Ponana Tini RMU, leaving a section of KwaNobuhle, Khayelitsha, Tjoksville and surrounding areas with no power supply.
The team is on the ground working around the clock to restore power supply as soon as possible.
