The Council has received an application for its Special Consent to permit student accommodation on Erven 2606, 2607, 2608, 2609 and 2610, Central.

 

Furthermore, the Council has received an application for a Town Planning Departure for the relaxation of the side and rear building lines (3 m to 0 m); for the relaxation of the building line along Clyde Street (5 m to  0 m) and Havelock Street (5 m to 1.3 m); and for an increase in the floor space coverage from 33.3% to 75%, as well as for a departure from the parking requirements in respect of the development on Erven 2606, 2607, 2608, 2609 and 2610, Central.

 

In addition, the affected erven will be consolidated.

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Ibhayi Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of portion of Erf 51125, Ibhayi from Institutional 2 purposes to Special Use Zone (Telecommunication mast and Base station) purposes to permit the placement of a 120 m² and 30 m high cellular mast.

The Council has received an application for a Town Planning Departure to depart from the parking requirements in respect of the development on Erf 3097, North End.

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Uitenhage Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 8996, Uitenhage from Single Residential purposes to General Residential Subzone 1 purposes for the conversion of the existing dwelling into four flats.
