AMENDMENT OF CONDITIONS: COUNCIL’S SPECIAL CONSENT (SC 185/2010) : ERF 663, THEESCOMBE (SEAVIEW ROAD)(CF30/00663) (NJ)

 

The Council has received an application for the amendment to its Special Consent (SC 185/2015) for the relaxation of the 17.5 m building restriction, as measured from the legal road reserve fence line along Main Road 422 (Seaview Road) to:

 

-           1,5 m building line for the existing containers along Seaview Road.

-           9 m building line for the existing farm store along Seaview Road.

-           17,5 m building line for all future development along Seaview and Heron Roads.

 

AMENDMENT OF CONDITIONS: COUNCIL’S SPECIAL CONSENT (SC 185/2010) : ERF 663, THEESCOMBE (SEAVIEW ROAD) (CF30/00663) (NJ)

 

The Council has received an application for the amendment to its Special Consent (SC 185/2015) as follows:

 

(a)(i)    Farm Store (± 250 m², comprising farm store area, bakery and manager’s office.

(a)(ii)    Tourist facility (tea garden/restaurant) (± 1000 m²), comprising kitchen, cold room stores, ablutions, enclosed seating, enclosed play area, staff supporting facilities (lockers and toilets), a bar and walkways.

(a)(iii)   Tea garden/restaurant activities (preparation, serving and consumption of foods, drinks and beverages), not restricted to the confines of the building.

(a)(iv)(a)-(c)    Tea garden/restaurant being closed for business between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00.

(a)(v)   Tea garden / property owner/ proprietor not causing or permitting the playing of music (i.e. live or recorded music) that is audible on the neighbouring properties.

(a)(vi)  -           1,5 m building line for the existing containers along Seaview Road.

-           9 m building line for the existing farm store along Seaview.

-           17.5 m building line for all future development along Seaview and Heron Roads.

 

(b)        That, in terms of Section 8 Scheme Regulations, a Zoning Scheme Departure (TPD 4252) be granted to permit a farm store of 250 m², excluding ancillary uses.

 

COUNCIL’S SPECIAL CONSENT (SC 170/2018) : REMAINDER PORTION 107 OF THE FARM KUYGA NO. 8 (CF61/00008P107) (LS)

 

The Council has received an application for its Special Consent in terms of Section 8 of Land Use Planning Ordinance 15 of 1985 to permit the existing building on the site to be used for a warehouse (cold storage).

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Scheme Regulations as contained in Section 8 of the Land Use Planning Ordinance 15 of 1985 by the rezoning of Portion 27 of Farm No. 18 Goedemoesdsfontein and Portion 44 of Farm De Stades River No. 481 from Agricultural Zone 1 to Institutional Zone 3 to permit the property to be used for an Addiction Treatment Centre.

 

The Council has received an application for a Zoning Scheme Departure to permit an increase in the permitted coverage from 50% to 60% and relaxation of the street building lines applicable on both properties from 10 m to 5 m in order to accommodate the proposed development.

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 1078, Walmer from Residential 1 purposes to Special purposes to permit the use of the property for a Place of Instruction (school for various grades).

The Council has received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 1867, Fairview from Business 2 purposes to Business 1 purposes.

 

TOWN PLANNING DEPARTURE 4684 : ERVEN 3510 AND 3511, KORSTEN (RELTON STREET) (CF13/03510) (NJ)

 

The Council has received an application for a Town Planning Departure to depart from the side and rear building lines for the consolidated erf.
