The Council has received an application for its Special Consent for a Special Use to permit student accommodation on the property.

 

REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS APPLICATION IN TERMS OF THE SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT ACT, 2013 (ACT 16 OF 2013): ERF 122, KINI BAY (10 BRANDESIG CRESCENT)(CF57/00122) (SN)

 

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 122, Kini Bay, to regularise the existing structures and to permit future development of the property.

Notice is given in terms of Section 47 of the above Act that the Council has received an application for the removal of title conditions applicable to Erf 137, Newton Park, to permit the property to be rezoned from Residential 1 to Business 3 purposes.

 

The Council has also received an application for an amendment to the Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 137, Newton Park from Residential 1 to Business 3 purposes to permit the property to be used for office purposes.

 

Furthermore, an application has been received for a departure to permit the relaxation of the side and rear building lines to 0m in order to accommodate the existing structures on the property as well as future development.

The Council has also received an application for an amendment to Conditions (v) and (vi) contained in TPA 1487 applicable to Erf 1904, Summerstrand in order to allow:

 

(i)         relaxation of rear building lines from 30m to 5m

(ii)        relaxation of side building lines from 30m to 5m

The Council has received an application for the subdivision of Portion 109 of Farm Chelsea No. 10 into four portions, as shown on Plan no. JN2371-PS.

LEASE : SUMMERSTRAND

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is considering leasing a portion of Erf 900, Summerstrand to Hearts Football Club to accommodate the current and future facilities of the club, subject to certain conditions.

 

Any lease to be concluded shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003, the NMBM Policy and Procedures for the Disposal of Immovable Capital Assets incorporating the NMBM Immovable Property Disposal Directives.

 

The closing date for objections and/or expressions of interest is 2 July 2018.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is considering the sale of the above erf to the current occupant thereof.

 

Any interested parties are required to express their interest in such sale, as stated above or their objections thereto in writing, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the description "Purchase of Erf 50362, Ibhayi”, which must be delivered to Properties and Planning Administration, second floor, Lillian Diedericks building, Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth by no later than 16:30 on 2 July 2018.

 

Any sale of the erf shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government : Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, the NMBM Policy for the Disposal of Immovable Capital Assets, incorporating the NMBM Land Sales Directives (as amended) and the evaluation and adjudication criteria stated therein.
